Emma-line (compound word, like rainbow or mailbox)

My passion is working at the intersection of people and design. I am a student at the VCU Brandcenter, studying art direction and branding.

I'm a believer in God. I'm an ENFP and a 4 on the Enneagram. I'm a sister, daughter, and friend. I'm a hard worker, a life-long learner, and want to spend the rest of my life doing work that empowers women.

Growing up, my mom prepared a new craft project for me every single day.

In first grade, mean Mrs. Robison gave me the most untrue piece of advice I’ve ever gotten. I had stayed after class, into my recess time, working on a Rainbow Fish painting, when she said, “A good artist knows when to stop.”

I’ve stayed in 37 hostels around the world. It took me 10 years of competitive figure skating and opera singing to realize you don’t have the best at something to love doing it, (and I have a few 7th place medals to prove it).

I develop some of my better concepts while reading T.S. Eliot, running long distances, making music, and downward dogging on my yoga mat.

Some of my former supervisors and mentors are happy to speak more about my work ethic and character–
